There are a lot of amazing projects here in Cornwall, offering support in many different ways. When people need help we try and signpost them to the right places to receive help. HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT FUND – Volunteer Cornwall is supporting people with essential items to get through the winter, i.e. anything that is not covered by other providers (e.g. winter clothing & footwear, white goods, fuel). This is for everyone that is on a low income or benefits of all ages. Contact us if you’d like this help.
COMMUNITY GATEWAY – The Community Gateway is a single point of access to a wide range of voluntary sector support. Connecting people to mental health support, community activities, the community hub network and winter support including hot food and warm spaces.Call 01872 266383: or email gateway@ageukcornwall.org.uk It is is open 8am to 8pm, seven days a week. In addition, staff members in the community will be available to offer one to one and group support.

PETROCS: BREADLINE CENTRE PENZANCE – Drop-in centre offering advice on housing, benefits and health. Low cost food, showers and laundry, clothing store. Resettlement and tenancy sustainment support. STREET FOOD PROJECT PENZANCE – Offering support, advice & signposting.
