All donations received in December 2022 are going to Jack Williams’s fund. Raising funds for private physio and buying an electric wheelchair that can fit into the back of a car so that he can enjoy outings to various places.
Jack was in an accident a couple years ago and suffered a spinal injury leaving him as a quadriplegic.
He spent 8 months in 3 different hospitals where due to covid restrictions, was often not able to have any visitors or have the rehab that is usually available. He then spent 1.5 years in an old age care home as there was no other accomodation available but has finally got a house to live in, back in his home town, St Ives.
Initially, Jack was only able to move his right hand but after a few months of treatment he started getting other movement and there is still hope that he might get more use of his limbs with further physio.
At our Friday Meal share, Kevranna club and Christmas dinner we will have donation jars out for Jack’s fund.

Update – Jan 2023 – we raised £150 in donations over December and gave it over to Jack. He’s been going to regular physio sessions and is really improving in his abilities and he thanked everyone so much for their support.
