The fantastic Tretho Lounge St Ives who have regularly helped us with providing for our Friday meals and community events were so incredibly kind, offering an all expenses paid evening together with delicious food and drink. Such a lovely evening for us all, spending time with the other volunteers while being treated spectacularly and spoilt rotten with the tastiest food.
We can only run our Foodshare group due to the fabulous volunteers that are super busy most days and evenings, collecting, organising and delivering food.
Despite us running almost 5 years many of us haven’t met each other very often, there are lots of what’s app messages but little time to meet and socialise.
So this was a wonderful way for us all to meet up. A huge thank you to the Tretho Lounge Stives for such a lovely gesture, it was really appreciated by all our fantastic volunteers, making our efforts feel noticed and appreciated.
